Our HistoryMark and Andy Carrier grew up watching their father, Larry Carrier, create sporting dynasties such as the Bristol Motor Speedway. He also founded the International Hot Rod Association (IHRA) as well as the World Boxing Federation in 1998 with a partner. The WBF, IHRA and the Bristol Motor Speedway all continue to thrive today thanks in a large part to the vision and business acumen implemented at their respective beginnings.
Andy and Mark Carrier paid attention, participated in many of their father's busienss ventures and have learned their lessons well. The brothers maintained their ties in motorsports by competing in drag racing's sportsman classes.
Legends are difficult to create. It takes an incredible amount of knowledge, perseverance and determination. The Carrier Family continues the legacy in Bristol and beyond.
